I love your perspectives on astrology and how it relates to branding and business! There are so many layers to it, and you make it easy to understand and digestible.

I was born on a full moon too. (A total lunar eclipse, but I'm not sure if that has any influence?) I'm a Leo Sun, Aquarius Moon, Taurus Rising. I can relate to what you shared about your Sun and Moon sometimes being on different wavelengths and trying to balance or integrate the two energies. (Although I've never really enjoyed being in the spotlight, I definitely relate to Leo/Aquarius being the axis of authentic self-expression and the underlying Aquarius need to stand firm in the truth of who you are.) I also have my North Node and Mars in Aquarius and Venus and South Node in Leo, so I'm guessing that plays into it too.

Thank you for following your pull to integrate astrology into biz/branding and for sharing your insights here!

Thank you so much, Christy! This means a lot, truly.

And wow! Based on what you shared with me, you've got a lot of tension going on with that Leo / Aquarius axis, *especially* with the north and south node on either end. In many ways, the axis of self expression is a huge part of your soul journey. I say this without seeing your entire chart, but given the amount of planets sitting on the see-saw, it's at least noticeably present.

With your Leo Sun, your central focus is in many ways vulnerability. Learning how to authentically express something from your heart outward to the right appreciative audience. It doesn't have to be a big audience. Even just a group of friends. Appreciative reception helps build confidence.

(Your comment to me is literally a great example of this, as I am a Leo rising and need some of this myself. When you said "I love your perspective on astrology ... you make it easy to understand and digest" ... that meant the WORLD to me because it fires me up to share more. Your appreciation helped build my confidence!)

Aquarius, however, does not need an audience. Your Aquarius moon is learning how to stand true in exactly who you are, stripped from familial or cultural conditioning. It asks: who are you really? And then it asks you to be that no matter what people say or think.

And so there is tension there, because one part of you needs feedback and another part absolutely doesn't. The integration comes in noticing which is which. A good question could be: would feedback be helpful? Or would it pull me out of my own personal alignment?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! All of this really resonates. (And I can relate to your Leo Rising!) I love this question you suggest. I will reflect on that the next time I sense the tug of war happening!

Thank you for sharing your insights and experience on the moon! I’ve always loved the moon and been fascinated by it - watering my plants, washing my hair, etc. according to where the moon is at the time.

I’m an Aries moon, Taurus sun, Virgo rising.

I definitely relate to the underlying need of courage and overcoming fear when it comes to business. Life and work always feels a little “disappointing” (i.e. disappointing myself and lacking “something”) when I know I could be doing more/be more bold/when I’m holding back… it’s an ongoing challenge for me to put myself out there fearlessly, though!

You mentioned the more challenging aspects of sun and moon being opposite, and also those of sextiles/trine. What about signs being next to each other? Would love to hear your thoughts on that. :)

And thank you for encouraging us to write in the comments! :)

I love that you center some of your daily rhythms around the moon. I mostly just know where it is and can see how my energy moves from internal to external and what activities I find more enjoyable depending on where it is in my chart. :)

I'm so glad you mentioned moon / sun combos in signs that are next to each other. I would put that in the bucket of a more difficult integration, although it's important to remember that your chart is perfect and all placements are part of what your soul is learning in this life, paradox included.

When you think of playing two notes next to each other on a piano at the same time, the sound clashes. It's a great metaphor for any two signs that are next to each other, as they are simply (quite) different. The Zodiac is an unfolding story and each sign is in many ways an adjustment based on the sign before it. If Aries is pure outward energy, Taurus is peace. The rest after the war, metaphorically speaking.

Central to your Taurus sun is the development of serenity of spirit. It's you standing at ease in your body in the present moment. Then comes your Aries moon, seeking a bit more adventure and risk. A bit more boldness. Things that help develop courage. And so Aries looks at Taurus and is like "why are you standing around ... do something!" In order to integrate them both, you simply pay attention to both.

Take small risks (Aries). Water your plants (Taurus). Try something new that you want to do but are scared to do (Aries). Listen to music or go in nature (Taurus). Taurus in many ways can ground your Aries. It's a safe and secure launching pad. Just don't forget to leave it every once in awhile. ;)
